I had a big lipoma in my shoulder recently removed by Dr. Almeida. I had another lipoma removed in the past by another surgeon and the experience was not pleasant, so I was a bit reluctant at first. But the detail he put into his explanations,in plain English and no medical jargon, the reassurance he gave me and the entire atmosphere made me feel at ease, and the lipoma – a big one – was successfully excised under local anaesthetic, avoiding the need for any hospitalisation. And with an amazing cosmetic result!
